Our Story

Jack and I are that lucky married couple who can successfully co-mingle business with home life. We’ve been married for 15 years and partners in the company for over a decade. It’s a simple pleasure – we love making food that makes people happy.

Jack is from Dublin; Rachel is from Virginia. They’ve worked together in kitchens all over the world, from Belgium to Thailand. In fact, it was in Thailand when the two watched a vendor form balls of dough into discs and fill them with bananas, chocolate and other delectables, that they got the inspiration to start their crepe business. Taking advantage of Charleston’s European sensibilities, the two began serving traditional crepes using a street cart. At first, they mainly fed friends; now, people queue up daily to get their famous lunchtime crepes.
